Golf lessons for children

For several years now, the Belvedere Annecy Golf Academy has been one of the most dynamic in the Haute Savoie region.

It has been managed and supervised by our 2 golf instructors for several years.

It has been run and supervised by our 2 golf instructors for several years, and lessons are given from April to October, excluding school holidays, over a minimum of 10 one-hour sessions on average.

Golf instructors welcome between 30 and 50 children aged 5 to 18, enabling them to form very homogeneous groups by age and level.

Their playful and adapted teaching methods enable students to perform while having fun.

If you don't have a positive frame of mind or if you're not prepared to change your attitude to your game... lessons won't work. Golf lessons aren't for you if you're already playing at the level you want. Lessons won't work if you don't have the time to practice on your own. Lessons won't work if you don't like being told what to do or if you're only taking lessons for someone else.

How golf lessons work best...
Don't be too proud to take lessons. The short answer is that it's probably still a good idea to take a lesson now and again. Even if you've had 3 or 4 lessons with a good teacher, they can give you ideas on a more effective way to spend your practice time on the course so that you can actually work productively on your swing. Find a golf instructor who reflects your learning style. Find the instructor who matches your learning level.

It's obviously very tempting to go to the driving range to try and hit the ball as far as possible when you're new to golf. It's something you see every day on courses and practices all over the world: players bring their friends along to help them discover the pleasure of making contact with the ball. It's a funny approach, but unfortunately it's also highly ineffective!
Wanting to go to the driving range to try and get the ball off the ground at all costs is the best way to pick up the worst things about golf.
Add to that well-meaning friends who will bombard you with advice that is wrong or unsuited to your level of ability and you won't get your golfing career off to the best start!

Our advice? Take a lesson, at least for the first time.
A good first lesson will help you to understand the meaning of the game of golf, which goes much deeper than simply trying to hit the ball as far as you can with all your might.

Ideally, in an hour you'll have time to do a bit of putting to understand the arm swing and alignment. You'll then move on to putting, which will help you to understand that the aim of the game of golf is to move your ball forward in relation to a target. Then you'll finish with a bit of practice to learn the basics of the swing.

One of the most common questions asked by golfers who want to improve is: When should I take golf lessons?

The answer is that you should take golf lessons when you have decided to improve your golf. If you're a beginner, lessons will help you learn the fundamentals before you pick up bad habits. If you're an experienced golfer, lessons are a great way to take your game to the next level.

Golf is an incredibly difficult sport to learn. Lessons from a qualified teacher will help you improve much more quickly than if you were learning on your own.

Mathias and Julien, 2 professionals golf state certified to accompany you in your quest for progress and success, offer you complete formulas for progress whatever your level of play.

Whether you're a beginner, an experienced golfer or an expert, this "golf course" package will enable you to work on a specific area, depending on your short, medium or long-term objectives.

You will learn the techniques involved in the different areas of the game: putting, chipping, bunker exit, wedging, driving, etc.
